While I was sitting here trying to figure out what to blog, I realized this is that famous time that so many pastors preach about. What to do in the waiting. In this current time, I get to wait until I get to do the very thing I signed up for. That’s in no way me complaining! This is such a sweet time to be in The Waiting. What does one do while waiting to do what God has called them to? Well let me tell ya!

The waiting is when you get to better prepare yourself for the battles to come. And no this isn’t just for missionaries, this goes for EVERYONE. No soldier simply heads right into the battlefield. No, they must first go through training and learn how to handle the different situations. No doctor starts with surgeries. No, they first must go through years of classes and eventually work up to surgery. So the same goes for Christians. We do not simply go right onto the field and yell “Jesus Loves You!” No, first we study the word, we pray, we learn. We must learn how to rely on God to guide us through situations and not ourselves. Which is a difficult lesson to learn! So here’s some verses about the waiting:

Lamentations 3:25 “The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”

Isaiah 60:22 “I the LORD will hasten it in his time.”

Psalms 27:14 “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

Before arriving in Georgia I was pretty upset because I just wanted to be in Costa Rica telling people about Jesus, however being here has taught me so much already. I’ve learned so many beautiful testimonies, I’ve learned how to better connect with others, along with diving deeper in the word, and just how amazing it is when the Holy Spirit is in the room working on each and every person. I’ve also learned those less important lessons, like how not to fall down uneven stairs, to use a port-a-potty without touching a single thing :0 , and how to find my way through the woods after taking the wrong path (sorry about that call mom 😀 ).

Anyways that’s about all I got! So I’ll see you around next time 😉

P.s I missed typing out the emojis, it’s way more fun and effective!
